Apple introduced iOS 17 at its WWDC 2023 launch on June 6. The new version, which iPhone users are eagerly waiting for, is currently in the testing phase. New details about iOS 17, which will be available in the coming weeks, are coming to light. However, Shazam was quick on the uptake.
Shazam will appear on the lock screen of iPhone devices
Shazam, the world’s most popular song scanning program, has become even more useful with its latest update. From now on, Shazam will be available in Widgets on the lock screen of iPhone devices. The feature is available in version 15.38 of the program.
According to the release notes, you can now place Shazam in the Lock Screen Widget. From there you can use the app to identify songs directly from your lock screen. As known, Lock Screen widget support came to iOS 16.
On the other hand, Shazam introduced another important feature for iPhone devices last month. The application can also identify songs on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok on iOS devices. In this way, users can easily find the name of the songs they encounter in these applications and who they belong to.
Songs playing in the background of videos watched on platforms such as YouTube, Instagram and TikTok do not always find a place in the descriptions. With this feature, iOS users can now benefit from this service.
With every new iOS update, widgets on the home screen and lock screen get a new look. But Apple is making them more useful. Plus you can mark reminders, control music playback, activate HomeKit devices and more without opening an app.
